In between senses and matter lies a tension that holds things together. Within this gap, I build a shelter. – Paloma Bosquê
Paloma Bosquê’s research unfolds through an investigation of the materiality of bodies in constant transformation. Through a daily practice grounded in contact and intimacy with the materials that compose her sculptural vocabulary, Bosquê sees materiality as the result of the interaction between the many visible and invisible elements that consitute our surroundings.
Earth as body; geological processes as sculptural gestures.
Bosquê understands bodies as permeable matter in motion — continuously transforming one another, establishing and dismantling connections within and beyond the domain of the visible.
