I am not very happy with this painting. I wanted to paint the figure of the calf that exists in my head. It’s a feeling I have when facing certain boys who have that moment of grace around 20-25 years old but little emotional maturity. The boy before whom doors are always open and who finds that quite natural. It is a redundant figure in the exhibition. A figure of one-sided love, but also of youthful love.
