Contraposing the generational idea coming from the masculine representations, especially when depicted the image of a male God, as if in Blake’s “The Ancient of Days”, the drawing presents a female figure as responsible for maintaining life. The alchemic compass is replaced by scissors, herewith suggesting it cuts through adversities to continue on her path, as the keel of a ship cuts waves. The triangle pointing up does not exclude the masculine action, which, in turn, is under the skirt of the feminine.
