The catalog 38th Panorama of Brazilian Art: A Thousand Degrees was created on the occasion of the eponymous exhibition at MAC USP, running from October 5, 2024, to January 26, 2025.
Curators Germano Dushá, Thiago de Paula Souza, and Ariana Nuala critically examined the current reality of the country through the concept of "limit-heat" via contemporary Brazilian art, establishing points of contact and contrast between various research and practices that, in common, share a high level of energy intensity.
The publication features unpublished content about the curators' trips and visits to the artists' studios, as well as analyses of the architecture and exhibition design, along with essays on the theme.
