These are a group of pictures of artist Paulo Monteiro in his studio by photographer Eduardo Ortega. The images illustrate the artist's relationship with the neighborhood where his studio and Mendes Wood DM are in São Paulo. In the photos, Monteiro arranges situations for his lead sculptures, presented for the first time at the Bienal de São Paulo in 1991, illustrating his interest in rhythm, unusual situations, and indirect relationships between sculpture and space.
