The drawing “Anima” follows somewhat the same line as the drawing “Mater”, in which I apply the feminine archetype as a possible reading, and in a certain way, an appreciation of this feminine aspect in the human psyche, finding an outlet for a genealogical idea much reinforced by the feminine figure in this case.

In this specific drawing, there is the “Anima” relation, as the sustainer is this being who nourishes a dog, in this case. We have this in a broad spectrum: the woman breastfeeding a beast, and of the woman breastfeeding an animal. In a way, this person, she sustains an intuitive side towards the psychic properly speaking, as a manner to deal and interpret the world, which, due to its rather materialistic appeal, lead us to grow apart from that psychic angle that is rooted in another kind of intelligence. The drawing points that out, this once again genealogic need for recovering the feminine origin as a possible mean to reinterpret and revive the world.
