Clube Amarelo ( Yellow Club ) was developed during an artistic residency at Fundación Ama Amoedo located on the Uruguayan coast in the summer of 2024.
Yellow Club follows Roque's research on desire and sexuality in producing images always situated in a blurred period of time in a short film which entangles black & white and color footage in both film and digital.
Casa Neptuna, the house which served as residency to the artist, designed by the Argentinian artist Edgardo Giménez, is the Yellow Club. The space is a kind of a seaside sauna bathed in light from the sun and the moon, where people gather looking for pleasurable experiences in a mental space after being in touch with other than human species.
